Not just that its a tear in the labrum. I don't see how he'll be 100% without surgery and that means his season is over. He is young which is the only thing that gives me hope regarding healing with conservative treatment.

Big loss.

On the positive side German looked so good yesterday. His stuff looks so sharp. And his command was...……….. better. He has to improve a lot in his approach though. His stuff is great he just need to have a grown up approach to MLB hitters. These aren't minor leaguers. But a good start against a weak team.

I think it was on opening day that Kay commented during the game that Zimmerman had been taking a no hitter into the 6th and at that very moment I knew we would face him in a few days and get dominated. I knew it.

Fucking bats are silent. Judge comes out and says...…… we are not following our plan which is to NOT swing at pitches outside the zone. We are suffering from the same thing we've suffered from for years. Stranding runners in scoring position. I think Voit alone has stranded 13 runners in scoring position so far. Unreal.

Gem of a start by Tanaka wasted again.

I am watching Boyd have a career outing against these Yankee hitters right now. Fun stuff. 12 strikeouts so far in 6 innings.

So nice to see that we make every pitcher look like Verlander and give them a good boost in confidence and stats. How nice of us.

Tulo injured and taken to hospital. Excellent. 18 strike outs for the Bombers today. Oh and we lost to the Tigers...…… again.

Boone asleep at the switch, nice to see him in mid season form.
Voit leads off the 8th with a walk and Boone waits until 2 outs to send Gardner out there to pinch run. Predictably, Gardner gets thrown out. Unconscionable that he’s not out there with 0 out.
Franchise worst 18 ks. Never been done in pinstripes before in a regulation game.
65 K in 6 games. Friggin awful

I heard Boone talk after the game. I’m now livid. This asshole said it’s “hard time of the day to play” wtf

Fuck off.

Yup. The nerds in the analytics dept running the show needs to get bull whipped.

This is totally unacceptable from a team with World Series aspirations. Early in the season is no excuse at all.

162 games gentleman. And we're not even close to healthy. If they can tread water in April until they get Seve, Hicks and Stanton back, they'll be fine.

No panic button. Just disappointed with the approach. Losses in the early part of the season count the same as the end. And while the injury run is insane right now, it only masks the issue. The K's are just alarming, considering that was what they "worked on" sabermetrically....
18 K's yesterday, abysmal. And sure we had several guys in there who were in AAA days before, however the "starters" k'd 10 times. Just crazy
So far in limited play the Bombers are averaging almost 11 k's per game and just over 3 runs per game. Yikes....
