Absolutely right about Corey Seager OldSchool but if Joc Pederson doesn't right the ship & start hitting regularly he could be sent back to triple AAA...His 2nd half numbers are awful, his batting average is real close to going under .200 & his power has all but disappeared as well...His 1st half #s were the best in baseball amongst rookies, his defense is what is keeping him in the lineup right now though, he can really play centerfield & is a pleasure to watch, Vin Scully actually said he is the best defensive cf in baseball, high praise indeed & just based off of his defense alone I would have to agree but National League pitchers are really doing a number on his hitting right now...
Corey Seager is a joy to watch, he hits lefties at a .362 clip & was at .412 before tonights game overall, he plays a pretty good ss but at 6'4" & 215 lbs. I have to agree with the experts that say he will eventually be our everyday 3rd baseman because he will get bigger & stronger & his power will
increase as well...
I totally agree with you about our farm system, we have a lot of talent in the minors & the new front office really went after the Cubans & scored some big time talent, money is no object with those guys & they have been impressive the way they've gone after international talent & succeeded...

Joc will be fine and stay in the majors if for no reason other than his OBP and his gold glove caliber defense. That and I don't think Honeycut or McGuire are back next year. Somebody will come in and ease Joc back from the swing for the fences or walk mentality.

On that coaching changes note you guys see what they did with the minor leagues? Every coach is gone. The Managers of each farm team and the roaving hitting/pitching instructors are all fired. Should make for an interesting off season.

Also he said the magic number is 5 because that's what Seager wears :)

Dodgers.com says 7 is the magic #... As for Joc staying for no other reason being his OBP, at some point he's gonna have to start driving in runs, OBP won't keep him in the majors alone, he's gotta start hitting...
Have you heard something about McGwire & Honeycutt? I think they're both safe but then I don't make those calls, just my opinion...

Ok I'll explain it again. The Dodgers actual magic number could be 7,000. What he's saying is the magic number is 5, that also happens to be the number Seager is wearing. The number 5 is magic because Seager is wearing it. You follow what he and I are saying?

As for the coaches I don't think anybody is safe even if we win the WS.

I know. I'm just clownin'...waiting for the fat lady to belt out a song for my guys.

Considering how often i like to make (hopefully) dry, sarcastic, witty remarks it's a little embarrassing how often i don't notice when someone else does it.

Apparently i can dish it out but i can't take it...

I agree but the silver-lining for me is that since I live and die with every game, not getting to see them until the playoffs means that I'll at least be focusing my energy wisely. I can forgive myself for getting worked up during playoff games. Getting all pissed off about game #12 of the season is ridiculous even though I still can't help it. Since I don't get to see any regular season games, my blood pressure's a lot happier.

Ha Ha. I totally get that. Still missing out on the golden tones of Vinny is a shame. Can't do radio BB either.

I think that may be the cruelest part of this whole thing. Instead of doing a simulcast like they used to, the radio broadcast is freakin' Charlie Steiner...who I HATE. I can't stand listening to him and I stopped listening to Dodgers games because of him. I'd rather chew on tin foil than listen to his slobbering call of a game. To go from Vin, the best of all time, to Steiner...when Vin is still calling the game is torture.

Yeah, the art of the deadpan. I try not to use "lol" or emoticons, but sometimes it doesn't translate
well on the internet if you don't. Worse, the other person thinks you're insulting them rather than just
joking around.
