I remember Kimbrel being a dominant closer not too long ago. Had a couple injury riddled seasons. Did pretty well for the Cubs last year. In 36 innings he posted a 0.49 ERA with 64 strike outs. Saved 23 out of 25 games. Those are elite numbers. I don't know why he was traded. I assume it was a trade since he played for both teams. In his limited time with the White Sox his numbers weren't good. I'm not sure why the Cubs traded him. Just looking at last year's stats. If he wasn't in an expiring contract year why would you want to trade a guy like that? Dodgers have done well reviving older pitchers. Treinen was lights out at the end of last season. Superstar The Dodgers POST #798 Well, well, this is a nice place to walk a dog. Come on, Boomer, good boy. Boomer, feel free to drop a load on the Dodger logo. That's it, a nice big dump. Good dog. Old race cars and the men and women who piloted these beasts are covered in Vintage Motorsport magazine. The eras covered are about 1900 to the year 2010 or so. Great writing and photography. by snackdaddy 3 years 3 months ago Total posts: 10043 Joined: May 30 2015 Merced California Hall of Fame The Dodgers POST #799 TOPIC AUTHOR SF fans have gotta be feeling pretty inferior to LA these days. In less than 4 months their baseball and football teams were eliminated by the LA teams. by snackdaddy 3 years 2 months ago Total posts: 10043 Joined: May 30 2015 Merced California Hall of Fame The Dodgers POST #800 TOPIC AUTHOR So the Dodgers traded Pollock for Craig Kimbrel.
