Kershaw continues to struggle and not perform up to his standards against good teams. Granted, he's set the bar pretty high but the Dodgers can't afford to rely on a guy who looks great during the regular season but then struggles when the lights are brightest. by Rams Dominate 9 years 4 months ago Total posts: 240 Joined: May 27 2015 Monterey Peninsula Rookie Re: The Dodgers POST #79 Hacksaw_64 wrote:OldSchool wrote:Good Lord Corey Seager is going to be fun to watch for many years to come. Our farm system is so amazingly strong right now.Absolutely right about Corey Seager OldSchool but if Joc Pederson doesn't right the ship & start hitting regularly he could be sent back to triple AAA...His 2nd half numbers are awful, his batting average is real close to going under .200 & his power has all but disappeared as well...His 1st half #s were the best in baseball amongst rookies, his defense is what is keeping him in the lineup right now though, he can really play centerfield & is a pleasure to watch, Vin Scully actually said he is the best defensive cf in baseball, high praise indeed & just based off of his defense alone I would have to agree but National League pitchers are really doing a number on his hitting right now...Corey Seager is a joy to watch, he hits lefties at a .362 clip & was at .412 before tonights game overall, he plays a pretty good ss but at 6'4" & 215 lbs.
