congrats to all of you dodgers fans, that's a helluva team, and after years of paying through the nose for those rosters but always falling short, it's gotta be sweet to finally get there...
Even sweeter with all the farm hands contributing.

They have a good blend of youngsters and vets. Chemistry is really good. I remember a couple years ago Brandon Belt commented "You can't buy chemistry" when referring the Dodgers and their payroll. I wonder how he feels about that chemistry now?

Unfortunately, he wasn't wrong. Dodgers have long had plenty of talent but never a team. They now seem to have built what the Giants have won so much with in recent years. Guys who are clutch and productive without necessarily putting up gaudy numbers.

QFTOS: World Series Game 1

Asstros fans:
104 degrees in LA right now.

I hope someone throws some chin music at Puig. He looked way too cocky in LCS

Now take a deep breath and lets go kick some LA butt....

rutroh

One pitch....were behind. Wonder what Springer thought.

Ouch. That didn’t take long.

This is what I've seen the Dodgers do this post season. Just knock the crap out of the ball. This is going to be tough.

Kershaw is looking tough.

this is the same Houston offense and Kershaw looks like a robot pitching.

Gone!!!!

There we go, lets pour on the runs now

I'm sick of hearing about the overrated Dodgers' pen. The Indians, Red Sox, and Yankees all had better bullpens. Astros have the advantage in the late innings because they have the better offense.

The Dodgers are outplaying us for the most part. Kershaw is getting a ton of K's.

This may sound foolish but we may have better luck if we can get to their bullpen.

With the way Kershaw is pitching it would be huge if we could steal this game.

The Astros offense better wake the f*** up!

2 out walk, 2 out HR.. *Facepalm

Kershaw out??? if so, i hope this move bites roberts in the a**

I’m still mad about that pitch to Turner. Keuchel was owning him outside, and then he threw the dumbest pitch. They bailed the Dodgers out big time, and that could cost us the game.

Dodger fans act their all high on weed.

So this one is over and Hinch needs to now make a more drastic change in the batting lineup.

Well regroup and try again tomorrow. Something needs to be shaken up to get this offense going.

Kershaw was incredibly good today. We don't see him often. I don't care about his postseason history, this guy is arguably the best pitcher in history (considering the advantage teams have nowadays of recording games, advanced scouting, advanced metrics, etc). Added to that the fact we don't face him often and it makes him pretty unhittable... at least the way he was throwing strike after strike.

Giants fans:
Hey hump,
Ask yourself how you felt watching the Giants win 3 rings in 5 years.
We'll get back to you when we see the Dodgers win one in the current century.
Buh-bye!

One is not enough! I want to see TWO minimum.

Taylor brings the juice to the opening AB, LOL. 1-0 Duds.

Too bad there aren't any ex-Doggies on the Stros. It would be nice to see an ex-Dog do in Coleslaw & Co. with a game winning HR, or two.

This Keuchel guy seems to be matching Kershaw. Usually Kershaw starts choking in the 7th. Darn 2 run home run.

<SONOFBICHSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! <Fucking roided up Ginger piece of <shit!!!!!!! This is my 3rd attempt to post this rant. Back to Law & Order. Oh, one more thing. Keuchel <sucks, too.

Yeah, but WHY does he have tater power? He's a little homunculus. He doesn't have a power hitter's physique, he's not athletic, so why is he such a good hitter? Is it something that the Dodgers organization is teaching their players - or is it something else?

Kershaw is not choking so far. We can't hold that over his head if he wins this game. Come on Astros. Great the Astros pen is in the game now.

if the 'Stros lose this Hinch needs to be fired. "Yes, I am serious. And don't call me Shirley."

Kershaw is awesome as always........Ginger Scrubb needs roid tested BIG TIME !

Why is no one talking about Ginger Scrubb needing tested when he changed overnight?

I think I'm going to vomit"

One down 3 to go. Tonight is just as important as last night. Astros are tough at home. Their offense puts up a lot more runs in their stadium. Darvish wil be game 3. I gotta think he's familiar with the Astros and vice versa being in the same division for so long. Hill was in their division too.

Justin Verlander is going to be formidable for our bats tonight. He was 8-0 in the regular season and 3-0 in the postseason.
This is a big big game for the LA Dodgers. A must win. Of course even more so for the Asstros.

I hope the Dodgers get after Verlander early and make him 3-1..

EDIT: Corrected JV post season W-L info above . How did I read that wrong?

That's true. Yu Yu Yu.. 8-)

But seriously, this series just got serious. It's been a big giddy Dodger fest around, but this thing is on. Houston is reppin' the 'tough disaster survivor thing' besides being a solid squad.

Roberts formula didn't work out tonight. Hill had gas left which might have led to Jansen not having to get 6 outs.

Now, let's see what they got. They obviously have to take at least one in Texas,, which hasn't been done yet this post season iirc..
