The Dodgers weren't as talented, lost their best player for two months, the rotation didn't look that good at the time. Yet, he still guided them to the playoffs and the NLCS.He had them overachieving most the year. He seemed to pull all the right strings to get them as far as they got. Although, I woulda started Kershaw at home in game 5. If they coulda won that one he'd be available in the bullpen for game 7. by moklerman 8 years 3 days ago Total posts: 7680 Joined: Apr 17 2015 Bakersfield, CA Hall of Fame The Dodgers POST #427 snackdaddy wrote:I think as stacked as the Cubs were, the people voting figured they shoulda won with that roster. Mattingly won 3 straight West crowns, winning 92+ games(Roberts won 91 this year) so it's not like Roberts was taking over a terrible team.I don't know, I just think if it's at all close, you give it to the guy who did something special. by Gareth 8 years 3 days ago Total posts: 1213 Joined: Mar 30 2015 LA Coliseum Pro Bowl The Dodgers POST #428 OldSchool liked this post Isn't the voting before the post-season? I sure hope we get Jansen back, him & Chapman would be fine together but I'd rather have Jansen if forced to chose...
