The A.L. East is 139-83 (+56) outside their division for a win percentage of .599. That equates to 97 wins over 162 games. The Orioles are 14-10 in June and have secured their first winning month since August 2017. The Red Sox are 19-5 in June and have lost 1/2 game in the standings. The next closest division is the N.L. West, which is 21 games over .500 outside of their division. Those in the media have been talking about all 3 wild cards coming from the A.L. East and that may happen. But what 3 teams? Baltimore is making a run while Tampa and Toronto have been on small slides.
The next 3 weeks are going to be interesting. Boston can make a lot of hay with games against Toronto (2), Tampa (7) and NYY (7). Baltimore has 2 tough series, both on the road. 3 @ Minnesota and 3 @ Tampa. Toronto and Tampa play a 5 game series in Toronto. The Yankees play Boston 7 times, Houston once and 3 in Cleveland. This division could either tighten up or start to separate in a big way. Or it could remain just the way it is. Tight from 2 through 5.

Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there.
