here's where the rams' offense ranks for the last 3.5 year stretch, i.e. the last 57 games, under fish:

- offensive points scored per game: 30th
- offensive tds scored per game: 29th
- 1st quarter offensive points scored per game: 20th
- 2nd quarter offensive points scored per game: 30th
- 3rd quarter offensive points scored per game: 31st
- 4th quarter offensive points scored per game: 26th
- 1st half offensive points scored per game: 28th
- 2nd half offensive points scored per game: 31st
- offensive plays per game: 31st
- 1st down per game: 29th
- 3rd down conversions: 31st
- 3rd down pass plays converted into 1st downs: 29th
- 3rd down run plays converted into 1st downs: 32nd
- 3 & outs: 29th
- average yards gained on 1st down plays: 11th
- average yards gained on 2nd down plays: 30th
- average yards gained on 3rd down plays: 29th

Hard to believe.
What other coach could produce such terrible results, and keep his job?

Heck, Joe Philbin and his 24-28 record doesnt even make it out of his 4th season with a winning % of .462
Here Fisher rides along with a great defense and an offense incapable of winning games to the tune of 24-32-1, .421

Realistically, the defense cant get good enough to win games.
I'm hoping Keenum can switch the gears here. Maybe Fisher realizes that this is his last chance to keep this job

It's all going to change this week. I've got a good feeling about Keenum.

That I would even think that is evidence of just how badly Fisher has bungled this team's offense.

I doubt Keenum will be our savior. There's still issues with the receivers and line. But there had to be a change. Foles completely lost it. I'm hoping the defense gets back to where they were and Keenum provides enough of a spark to win. Just let Gurley and the defense win the game. Make enough plays to keep them from committing everything but the kitchen sink to stop Gurley.

the only thing I'm worried about is Keenum being too amped up. He can be too aggressive and his completion percentage needs to be better but I think combining his willingness to run with Gurley's explosiveness is going to open up the passing game. Fisher's most successful teams have always had a QB who was a threat to run and even though Keenum's no McNair or Young, his athleticism is going to pay dividends. And, I think he's a better passer than many might realize.

Who will Fisher have left to blame after the Keenum experiment peters-out? That's the only question looming in my mind at this juncture.

WOW. Those stats are very underwhelming.

Fisher brought stability to a team in disarray. A big name coach who brought some clout and swagger back to the floundering team in fly over city. (Don't forget how terrible the Rams were) He put together a respectable staff. His defense is a beautiful thing to watch. ST trickery is entertaining (when it works). We started winning more games than before almost immediately,, and at the time I was thrilled.

However, in this league you have to win consistently. Win more than you lose and get into the playoffs consistently. That's what all fans want.
After reading aeneas1's list of where our offense has been/is ranked, I can't see that the likelihood of consistently productive offense happening anytime soon is slim to none, and slim just left for LA.

I'm right there with everyone who's tired of Fisher's act, but....I think we all felt the same about Vermeil in '98. For Fisher to bench "his" guy at QB may be a good sign for us fans. It may also mean that they might be ready to try some different things on offense or at least for Fisher to take a step back and let Cignetti do more of his own thing.

I'm looking forward to this game more than any others this year.
