Roggin: If 2 teams move to LA, one will be Chargers

Roggin said that it came from a high source in the NFL.

But when you think about it, there is nothing new.

We all know that it's either Carson with Chargers and Raiders, or Inglewood with Rams and Chargers.

Roggin also said the results of the official NFL market study revealed that the Raiders were the most popular team in LA, with the Rams a close 2nd, and the Chargers a distant 3rd.

That tells you one reason why Kroenke doesn't want to team up with the Raiders.

But it also says something about Spanos. He is willing to team up with the Raiders in LA knowing that he will be a distant 2nd to the Raiders in popularity, just to keep Kroenke out. Man, Spanos really hates Kroenke.

The prudent thing for the league to do is to give LA to whoever is willing to bring the NFL back to the city. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't be too excited about a reset of what the Rams started back in the 40's but if Kroenke is the one who's spending the money to make all of this happen, I say the rest of these teams can just go pound sand.

The Raiders moving to LA back in the '80's just helped to dilute things and "sharing" the return to LA would be just the same. Whether it was the Raiders or Chargers I think dividing the city is an overall negative. It's especially a slap in the face to the owner who's actually getting something done when all others have failed.

That study said the Raiders? What? Where was the poll taken in Oxnard? That doesn't make sense and contradicts the LA Times poll which had the Rams favored 4 to 1. Bizzaro. This poll is the one that matters and the Chargers market share in LA has been exposed.

If Kroenke has to bend over to get LA he may be willing to do it to point. Otherwise it just isn't fair to him have very similar circumstances as SD does and for him to have to plan and pay for the whole thing. The league is getting what it wants too. Then to have Davis or Spanos pitch a bitch about being the 2nd fiddle they are is over the top.
