Happy The SF Game Matters

Call it a slave driver mentality if you like, but I'm happy - as a fan, that we get to see another week of competitive Rams football with all or most of the guns on the field and firing, and I'm happy as well - as a mode of defense. If Chicago lost, the starters would rest and it would be three weeks before the next time they take the field.
The Rams have not figured this out yet, they need more work ramping up to the good teams again.
Yesterday was fun to see CJ light it up, the O-line block well, and the D show up to close the door after halftime. Jared Goff still drives me crazy, but after that "I hate this guy" moment, he managed a pretty good effort the rest of the way, and I like him again - so it's all good
But they still have work to do to get to where they can counter good teams and the creative strategies they will implement against them. I was glad to finally see some flexibility in formations and definitely glad to see the jet back in heavy doses. But more work needs to be done.
And we get to see another awesome home Rams game - so the selfish is in too
