He has not looked the same since being hurt going out of bounds vs KC.
Hoping it is not same knee he hurt at Georgia. He lacks the burst we know and love.
With Malcolm Brown hurt also, we would be so one dimensional.

What, is Gurley going in for some tests? I hadn't heard anything.
I will agree, when the Chef's player illegally horse collared TGII out of bounds on about the 5th play in the MNF game, he hasn't looked the same since. Since then, defenses have been playing a different alignment too.
Losing Kupp didn't help Goff, and the left side of our O-line is beginning to look it's age again as well. But if Gurley is hurt, we are screwed. No Brown either.

Title is misleading unless you know there are headlines about a test to his knee today. I haven't heard any.
He had a complete ACL tear of his left knee in college.
It was the same knee he was favoring last night.

Well said.
He tore his left ACL in 2014. Same knee he had ice on when he was sitting on the bench last night.
This is me being a grumpy old guy, but these idiot sports reporters never report on these type of details. Some of them are dumber than a bag of rocks. I get better information on this board then from most of them.

Seems like something’s different, when he would get through the hole he seemed to accelerate and it was off to the races or when he cut back and beat the defender to the corner even though he had the angle.
Lately, when I see him I think, is he heavier,I can’t put my finger on it but something’s going on.

(Dick Vermeil)We will rally around John Kelly and play good football.
Gurley did come back into the game and I don't think the Rams would've allowed him to if he had a serious knee injury. *fingers crossed *

Gawd I hope it doesn't come to that.

Probably not. So then what is wrong with him. Is he wearing down running into the 8 men crowding the line on the D side lately?

I think it's that time of year. Wear and tear on a long season.
I think it also has a ton to do with teams having film on the Rams zone blocking scheme. Kromer and the o-line need to get this figured out.
This is the ultimate team sport and when the o-line isn't doing their job it effects the whole offense. Teams aren't buying the play action because the run game is stuffed.
In the end it's above my pay grade. I'm sure McVay will figure it out in the next couple of weeks.

They can make all the adjustments they want. Bottom line, players need to get the job done and execute. If they don't there are no adjustments that can make a play work.
As concerned as we are about the offense, the defense is still more troublesome. Its not unusual for an offense to go into a temporary funk. Teams with good defenses can overcome that and still win. We are not one of those teams.
