seems everywhere I look, ESPN, NFL Network, all the talking heads are picking the Saints. Cowherd even moved us down to #3 on his power rankings because we didn't beat the Packers by enough. actually I like being the underdog. Thoughts?

Cowherd molests collies.
As for the "talking heads"... I think its just their nature to want to tear down the last remaining undefeated team.
I feel pretty good about this matchup.

The Rams have reached that level of undefeated win total where guys are just going to pick against them every week so that it happens they can say "look at how smart I am." Has nothing to do with the Rams IMO. If the Rams win the same guys will predict a Seattle victory next week, then a Chiefs win, etc.

I guess we're no longer a sweetheart team, like last year's Cinderella. All of a sudden we're the big bully on the block. We're supposed to win every game. Nobody likes a bully. We made Aaron Rodgers feel bad.
Just wait until we win a Super Bowl or two. Then they'll really start hating us.

Good to be an underdog, though I notice we are now favored by 1. Not sure how much players and coaches care about what the "experts" say, but we fans seem to get a charge out of it.

There are 4 teams in the NFL right now where a pick against us has legs. @NO, @NE, @Philly & KC. We are going against 1 this weekend.
The lack of respect for our team has probably got a lot to do with how poorly our defense has performed (to the eye). The Rams have been in closer games lately. The only head to head his year didn't help ending 28-0 in the pre's @NO.
Aint's PF-234, PA-183. Rams PF-264, PA-155. By these numbers, it appears to be a fairly close match-up. Except for 2 big days against the NFCE, the Aint's have been winning by around a TD per game, so they certainly aren't destroying the competition.
The beauty of all these knuckleheads picking against us is that if our boys come out and punch them in the mouth for piling on in the pre's (oh and let's not forget the GW-Fish bowl a couple years ago when Peyton exacted his revenge against our then DC by piling on) and return the favor, I think the PFF's will all become believers. ( well except for Hornsby)
This is a huge match-up. Biggest of the YTD. I really hope the Fowler injection has our boys jacked.

Looking at Vegas Insider, we're now favored from between 1 to 2.5, lot of money coming in on the Rams apparently...

Our defensive secondary is a weak link against Brees. I can see why folks would pick Brees in a shootout. We have made so-so offenses (Raiders, Seahawks) look good. Cousins lit us up. We could have easily lost a few of our games, like last week. Until the defense backfield starts showing something, I can totally understand believing that a great QB on a good team, at home, can beat us.
