My favorite throw of the game is the one at 2:20. I remember my jaw dropping when I saw it. To Cooks in triple coverage, just a flawless spiral, on a string, with perfect velocity. It was such a high level throw even as a big Goff fan I was surprised he made it.

In my mind Jared is really only in his 2nd pro year (I will NEVER count the Fisher year, even if the stat books do) and he has so much more upside potential still. I know Goff is playing great this year, but I honestly think we don't see who Goff really can be, and will be until next year. Call it a hunch.

On that throw to Cooks there was a 4th defender closing in. If Goff leads Cooks more the defender probably takes his head off. Goff had the presence to see that in a fraction of a second and throw it where Cooks can go down and pick up the first while living to see another play.

On the TD play to Brown Goff saw Woods open over the middle but pulled it back because defenders were closing and he woulda been short of the first down. It was 3rd down. Goff wasn't satisfied with checking down and settling for a field goal. He then scrambles and finds Brown.

Those are plays in my opinion that are an indication that Goff is going to be a great one. He's still very early in his career and he makes plays and decisions an All Pro quarterback with many more year of experience makes. He was good last season but he's much better this season.
