Here's my system (and, unlike PFF, you don't have to pay a fee to access my rankings!):

The score for each game consists of a score from 1 (poor) to 5 (outstanding) for the offense and the defense. I will then assess a +1, -1 or zero adjustment based upon the special teams performance, and a score from 1 to 3 for "degree of difficulty" (based upon the level of the opponent and the venue).

Thus, perfect game would receive a score of 14. If two games have the same score, I will break the tie and rank the performances based upon the current record of the opponent.

Here's how I rank the performances:

1. Cardinals (1-6): 11 (O:4, D:5, ST:1, DOD:1)
2. @Raiders (1-5): 10 (O:4, D:4, ST:1, DOD:1)
3. Chargers (4-2): 9 (O:5, D:3, ST:-1, DOD:2)
4. @Broncos (3-4): 9(O:3, D:4, ST:0, DOD: 2)
5. Vikings (3-2-1): 8 (O:5, D:2, ST:-1, DOD:2)
6. @Seahawks (3-3): 8(O:4, D:1, ST:1, DOD:2)

So... agree? Disagree?

What I take from this analysis is that the Rams are 6-0, but have not played anything close to a "perfect game." If the Rams ever have anything approaching their best game, I really don't think there is a team that can beat them.

I'll update this in a few weeks, as the Rams have some DOD level 3 games (@New Orleans, KC in Mexico) coming up.

Looking forward to that perfect game!
