warner lit it up so many times, but the 1999 niners game at the dome, the vikings postseason game, and the 2000 mnf game against the donkeys really stick out in my memory as incredible passing clinics, i'm sure there are many more, yet i don't think warner threw as many impressive passes in those games as goff did last night, in terms of depth and degree of difficulty, not to mention accuracy... of course i could easily be wrong but, geesh, my head's still spinning from watching goff throw darts all night long... btw, my staff just walked in, first thing out their mouths was, yelling, holy shit, goff's for real! local boy makes marin proud! ha ha...

As you noted, I'd say the 1999 divisional round playoff game against the Vikings fits in that category....kind of interesting to see the parallels.

The Rams 42-10 win over the Dolphins in 2001 is another that comes to mind.

I don't mean any disrespect and maybe the technology is showing us angles and views we never saw before, but I don't recall ever seeing a QB make throws like this. Last night was sick

that's what i mean, so many were lasers put into small windows way downfield, they had such authority... one of the talking heads said cooks didn't catch that deep ball, the ball caught him given how perfectly it was thrown, ha ha... but, yeah, it could very well be the tv technology, the angles... i think the real litmus test would be seeing it in person, a different animal than tv.

The other thing is that we've been subjected to such check down head trauma over the past decade that we have forgotten what real QB play looks like...

Goff is a BAD ASS.... and we are gonna see these combination of Goff, Gurley, Cooks, Woods and Kupp… for years to come.... :D :D :D

Now you guys know, when I said when I went to camp,,, it was the best camp session for the pass three years since coming back to L.A...,,,

Plus playing against the best corners in the league, only makes him even more dangerous...

The rest of the league and football viewers have just put on notice. :D :D :D

ain't that the truth... funny how well the screen pass works when you stretch the field, instead of having the entire secondary 10 yards off the los looking for the dink/dunk.

There was a fantastic Rams offense display at Denver on Monday night football game in 2001. Wish I had that game on tape. One play in particular had Bruce, Holt and Hakim racing down the field side by side for a touchdown. Can't remember which one had the TD, but seems like all three of them were about five yards ahead of the nearest Denver defender.
