I know she's a "name" but man, does her voice grate on me like no other. She sounds like she's doing an impression of Harry Shearer from the Simpsons when he's doing a parody of a baseball announcer.

I realize it's a subjective thing but do other people out there enjoy her? Hasn't her rise to prime broadcasting gigs been rather meteoric?

EDIT: Dieter pointed out that it's Beth Mowins not Lisa Salters.

Her play calling does sound like she is doing a parody of some character. I don’t know why she talks like that. Just talk normally. It’s very annoying.

When she’s “just talking” it’s fine but when she tries to hype it sounds ridiculous.

The good news is she isn’t doing our game...

I think she started with MLB but she's always sounded like that as the play by play announcer. I hate when she's doing a game.

I don't know. I Googled the Jets/Lions MNF broadcasters and it gave me Salters. Looking again, Mowins is also listed so I probably read too fast.
