Anybody else see these on the Rams/NFL shop? Rams Alternative Chrome Helmet. Is this just a weird collector thing, or could we read something else into it? Gotta say, I like the blue.

Also, this just seems like confused marketing to me, anybody else?

Some kind of marketing jujitsu to rebrand the Chargers as the Rams?

I'm a traditionalist and the chrome makes no sense to me however it might be nice as a fuel tank on a bike.
That shade of blue is interesting it's almost powder blue. Sort of Charger'esque like that tee shirt.

The chrome mini-helmets have been a thing for quite a few years and there was a blue/yellow version too. I like it as a collectible and even think some of the college helmets I've seen look pretty snazzy. For the hypothetical new uniforms maybe they can tie it all together but I don't think it would work with the colors we've got now.

i'm more into keeping a solid grasp on the retro..

the blue chrome is ok i guess, and in my many years as a ram fan, i've endured worse changes ...

Take a look at these photos of the new stadium the practice unis,,,,

If you look at the vid screen and lighting going around the stadium,,,

It matches the same color that chrome Blue helmet...

The same goes for the RAMs first practice uniforms when they returned back to L.A. before they changed it to a darker uni returning to camp in Irvine this year...

I have a feeling those colors will be the new colors of our unis...
This is the reason why they are holding back marketing the new unis until the new stadium opens in 2020...

If this is the case,,, I'm hoping the the practice unis they were wearing will have thick big horns with the longer short sleeves.

Every team has a chrome helmet for sale, so I doubt it means anything.

That Chrome is cool but I'm still patial to the blu/gold. I would like to see it maybe when they go to the color rush games.

That Charge shirt has to go, as stated it's too close to some other unmentioned SoCal team
