You gotta wonder if the recent Chargers statements and actions are teeing this thing up.

Hard to believe that the owners are happy about Fabiani making announcement already. He is forcing this thing to be decided earlier than anticipated.

If the Chargers get into playing out the string mode soon, which it looks like is happening, its gonna get even uglier in SD. Then if Davis announces before the meeting, what effect will that have on Kroenke and the Rams?

This thing is getting escalated rapidly now.

Max, I believe you're reading too far into this meeting. Fabini's comments and the game on Sunday were expected. Nothing is surprising that happened over the past few days. We've known for a long time that all three teams are going to file for relocation and it was obvious that Raider fans were going to take over Qualcomm stadium (the Rams, Broncos, Pats, Steelers have all taken over Qualcomm over the past year). Those things will have very little (if any impact) on what team (s) relocates to LA in 2016. It's safe to assume the owner (SK's money)/team (Rams-tradition/fanbase) that's the best fit for LA will be the team playing in LA in 2016.

In a lot of ways it's just more of the same:

Chargers trying to control things with words, Kroenke actually controlling things with actions...
