Only heard bits and pieces but Fred had an email from somebody who was in an NFL Focus group on relocation and it was pretty explosive stuff:

Friday October 23rd end of first hour.

I'll listen to the whole thing later when i get a chance but if someone can get to it sooner...

Basically him and Vinny agreed STL's plan was good for the city and terrible for the Rams. Alderman are still pushing for a public vote so there is still a ton of uncertainty and bad planning going on there. The focus group led this listener to believe the Raiders wouldn't be supported by the corporations in LA. All favorable scenarios involve Inglewood and the Rams. Also reiterated that the Raiders and Chargers only own 11 acres in Carson and the rest is in a Joint Authority. Still 4 years away if they got the green light. Looking really really good for Inglewood!

That focus group report was very encouraging if true. God stuff.

You know what they say about counting chickens, but the eggs be crackin' all over Inglewood.
Serious,. . The first results from all the meetings and important events have been pro Rams / LA. The tide is rising..

But...Can any of us afford to go to any games when and (if) this happens?

Doubt I can.

I know.

Maybe we'll be able to afford the first couple years at the Coliseum? And there's always stubhub. But those PSL's are gonna be brutal...

I have to think this roller coaster has a few more ups and downs left for us.

But the fundamentals of relocation have never changed since Stan announced his plans. They've always favored the Rams moving to L.A. ...

Save $25.00 cash per week in a glass jar starting now. Put a LA Rams sticker on the jar. 8-)
By August of 2016 you will have $1,000 in your Rams jar for a Rams game with all the souvenirs, food for the kid(s) and a great memory. $3.50 a day. Yes you can go.

Finally listened to the segment.

Fred says one of his listeners has been to these Los Angeles NFL focus groups, and not for regular fans, for potential corporate supporters. Fred's guy says all 32 of L.A.'s fortune 500 companies were represented. He said overwhelmingly there's not a lot of corporate support for the Raiders in L.A., especially in Carson which has a big gang problem.

He said Carson has a lot of problems, wouldn't be ready for 4 years. Chargers and Raiders don't have the money to fight the NFL on relocation or build their own stadium. This is information he got from the focus group meetings.

Anyway, if this guy is legit and Fred is legit (i'm assuming Fred has done some vetting and digging to make sure he's not dealing with someone blowing smoke up Fred's ass) it's a very strong indication of which way this is going...

My father works at Dreamworks, and he went to one of these things along with a few other people (including Jeffrey Katzenberg).... Now my dad doesn't care a lot about the NFL (but he has a soft spot for the Rams, I think because he knows that I like them) and according to him the entire room agreed with the Rams, and they didn't want anything to do with the Raiders... Chargers were hit or miss, but when the NFL was talking to them, it was pretty clear what their votes were. They all loved the Inglewood stadium from an artistic standpoint too, so that helped the non football fans decide.
