Their window is closing fast. Ours is wide open. The Cardinals is shut. The whiners is starting to open. The division and more is ours for the taking. We have to take advantage while we can.

You never know but I agree with this assessment. The Hags and StLX1 are in rebuild mode. The 9'ers have been for a while. They needed a qb and got a decent one. It remains to be seen how they fair this year now that there is time to think about them again. They were off the radar like us so I get the feeling that they snuck up and stole a few games. Out last match doesn't count. But they almost beat us with Hoyer.

The rivalry is back on.

You know that teams are going to ramp up for us more than ever now. Our acquisitions were noticed and there are some who likely think we're trying to buy a chip.
If the guys we got are what we think they are, it won't much matter since we'll be pounding them into the sand anyway.

Cannot wait to see how this all shakes out.

Yes, this season will have a totally different feel from past seasons. Expectations will be high. And I like it.

The Rams SLAMMED the shesquat’s window shut with that 42-next to nothing beatdown they handed them on their vaunted home field. The whiners are building and as Hack said, that rivalry is back. Frankly, I expect us to sweep the division this season.

The key thing here is how quickly things change in the NFL.

Last year at this time the Hawks were touted as the clear top team in the West and one of the NFC favorites while the Rams were thought to be at least two years away with a huge question mark at QB.

Many times things change dramatically in the NFL. You just never know when the magic will happen.

And to that we have to keep finding quality guys we can afford who will be around for a while. Build and continue that magic chemistry. We have quite a few 1 year rentals on the roster now which are great for getting us firmly replanted in the LA market , , rebuilding interest and confidence for investing in PSL's. A win now and for the next few years approach.
Longevity though? McSnead is going to have to hit on many of our later round picks the way they are currently doing business imo. I believe they can but our future depends on it.

Either way it is going to be fun around here for at least a short while.

I just re-watched the 2nd Rams at Seahawks beat down. It's great therapy and I highly recommend it. The crowd was booing at half time. :D Priceless!
