This shows me that Rams are in win now mode! Of course questions still remain about K. Webster who is trying to regroup from injuries and who knows what will happen with Tru. If true about Quinn, that is good news for him.

WOW! Well that is one problem solved and an upgrade at the position - but it creates other problems now as well. Limited draft picks to get younger, cap-friendly talent into the pipeline. It does not impact the cap the way Tru has and would going forward for the next 2 seasons - IF Peters doesn't hold out for a restructure. I see a Quinn restructure happening for sure and both Tavon and Barron gone now. Cooper and Littleton are their replacements, so to speak. We still need to figure out Joyner and Watkins, Sullivan, get another OLB/Edge rusher (Anzah?), and draft (if we have any picks left, lol - we now don't pick until the 3rd round) DC, OL, ILB. If the Rams tag Joyner and a Watkins deal doesn't get done - EJ Gaines is now a F/A, btw - then the Rams must think between M. Thomas and J. Reynolds they can replace Watkins. But, losing that 2nd round pick for one season with Sammy seems dumb now. Gaines was going to be a F/A regardless.

So much for us picking a cornerback in the draft. Smart move. You get a proven cornerback and give up a fifth.
