Took a stroll over to the compost right now

First time in month. Of course, it never fails. Thread numero uno with 13 pages of response is this crap. Bernie must be bored now that baseball season is over.

Bernie just said that a real item in the rumor mill among people 'in the know' is a discussion among the NFL, Kroenke, and Mark Davis about Kroenke buying the Raiders from Davis at a premium and moving them to LA with the NFL working with Kroenke to sell the Rams to a group that will keep the team here.

He said he would not mention it unless it was from 'very solid sources'. One of many possible outcomes we can keep guessing about now...

I saw that yesterday. There is clearly a different filter those folks perceive things through. They of course are mostly in denial of anything remotely opposing their perspective, they'll just dismiss it as LA troll rhetoric. Frankly if I want to get frustrated a bit and disgusted by the tone of other human beings, I find that place to work quite well.

I don't know how Kroenke sells when considering capital gains taxes. The team is worth 100's of millions more than what he paid for it.

Vinny on said rumors:

BTW, here's my bat shit crazy (not serious) solution to the problem:

Spanos doesn't want the Rams in L.A. Kroenke wants his team playing in his stadium in Inglewood.

So Kroenke and Spanos trade teams: Rams stay in St. Louis, Chargers move to L.A., Dean gets everything he wants. Am i right?

No, because Spanos doesn't want to leave southern California at the end of the day. It's all posturing.

It's just comical that someone would actually think Kroenke would sell the Rams at a reduced price, then buy the Raiders "at a premium" and move them. These are the same idiots I'm sure who were firm believers that the Rams moving would be cost prohibitive for Kroenke. This literally is the most expensive option by a mile.

I know, i was joking. In my scenario Dean gets everything he wants except he doesn't own the Chargers anymore. But hey, nobody gets 100% of what they want in a negotiation...

The other part of the rumor wast that the meeting took place at the Oracle box and it was shown on the stadiums jumbotron. If Ellison is involved that means Bay Area.

So Stan is buying Oakland and moving the Carson waste dump there?
