so how does 11-5 sound? even if we get dumped by the packers? crazy talk? after the packers game, and bye, the rams face a run of teams that haven't exactly distinguished themselves much in the early going, in fact only 2 of the 11 teams that will remain on the rams' schedule (after the packers game) have posted a winning record through 4 weeks of football... of course this could all change quickly, but looking at the schedule, right now, there seems to be a lot more teams in disarray than teams that look like they're on the cusp of greatness... then again the redskins didn't look like much of a team a few weeks ago, still don't, not really, and we all know how that played out...

anyway here's a look at the rams' schedule, including opponent current win/loss records and rankings for offensive scoring and offensive points allowed, some less than stellar offenses on the schedule, as of now at least, and more than a handful of less than stellar defenses. go rams!

After the Redskins game I am not comfortable penciling any win. The Ravens game on the road would scare me as would the Vikes on the road. The Cards game at home will be huge.

Sure looks like we shouldn't lose another home game. That's 8 wins.

Not sure I'm too confident about @Min and @Bal.

Yeah, with this team there is no such thing as a sure win and no such thing as a sure loss. Which leads them to be a .500 team. Right where they're at now.

I'm in on the breakdown you provided A1. I really think the o-line is starting to gell and after the bye week they should be even better. Gurley is only going to get better too. I know there aren't a lot of Cook fans but he will be a big mismatch once the running game is consistent. I'm ready for a playoff game and looking forward to the Rams returning to LA as a perennial playoff team that nobody wants to play.

At least our homers bring stats and other good evidence. Go by the PD to witness homerism based on nothing more than piss and vinegar

As long as they beat the team they're supposed to beat, I have no problem with them losing to a top team on the road. The Ravens and Bengals games are hard to figure out for me. I'm not sure the Ravens are that bad at home and I'm not sure the Bengals are that good. Those games are tossups to me.

But we really should win the next 4 after the bye. Those are very winnable games. If you want to be a legit playoff contender you have no business losing games like the one in Washington. And there is no reason we shouldn't win 3 out of the last 4 in December. So yes, I can understand the homerism. I see what should be a minimum of 7 wins left on the schedule. And I see 3 tossups. Pick up another one or two on the tossups and thats 10 or 11 wins.

It all sounds good in theory. But this is the Rams. Just when you think they should have an easy win they lay an egg. And just when you think its a sure loss, they play lights out. I can't assume anything with this team.

Cincinnati is the best team we will play this year. By a good amount, too.

Don't think for a minute that Cleveland is a pushover. They have legit talent on that D.

It all comes down to Foles and the OL.

Foles has to make better decisions and the OL has got to get better in pass pro. I know we don't have a WR1 or even a receiver that consistently catches the ball besides Bailey who is too small and slow to scare the defense. Bailey is a fine complementary WR and I'm sure a guy like Rodgers would make him look like a pro bowler, but that's Rodgers. So we will have to make due with what we have this year and focus on better OL play.
