TV Map (CBS Early): http://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2015&wk=5
Rams@Packers is being shown almost everywhere. Only exceptions are home markets of the other 4 teams and Oregon for Mariota.

Packers are favored by 9 with a 46.5 over/under.

Recent Rams wins as significant underdogs: @AZ last week (-7), v Denver in 2014 (-9) and @Colts in 2013 (-7).

Head Ref: Brad Allen
Commentators: Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts

No way around it, the Packers are good. Green Bay hasn’t lost at home since week 13 of 2013, and Rogers is playing at the top of his game.

Turnovers: Packers haven’t turned the ball over in the last 159 minutes of play, and Rogers hasn’t thrown an interception at Lambeau since Week 13 of 2012. It’s time for the Rams D to change that.

This is our biggest challenge yet this year in our hardest environment, and one that will show whether the team is maturing or stuck in inconsistent play.

And: Gurley!

I believe we can win this in a close game.

Here are some links to Packers’ fan forums. Their fans seem level-headed and pretty respectful regarding the Rams and discuss the teams well, unlike the over-confident AZ fans last week.

This game is going to be tough sledding. Sooo, I'm going to say that the Rams new mantra of "they haven't played us yet" is the theme for the season (unless they go on a major losing streak) and we will give them Packers hell up in Wisconsin.
We have a bunch of young studs, coached by an intense assassin DC and they are becoming fluent in the system.

With THII, we have a game changer. Not so much that he is going for 200+ each game , but more the threat and attention he get's in games. Play action is going to open up many more opportunities for NF5 and his amazingly accurate rainbow.

With GZ and Hekker our kicking game is top notch and with Jim Fassell, or ST's are top flight also,,, and unpredictable.

All that said, Aaron Rodgers is an amazing QB. Wish we had him (as much as I like Foles) , but he/they can be beaten and I have a gut feeling that we have just the team that can do it.

Long shot
Rams 27
Pack 24

We'll need some turnovers to win this.

Tough game, no doubt. Could be a real calling card if the RAMS take this one. The RAMS have to become a Super Bowl contender at some point and thus beat good teams on the road. Maybe that time is now.

So, we seem to have a clash to 2 Ram trends here:

(1) Whenever you think the Rams have turned a corner, they end up laying an egg.
(2) Whenever you think the Rams have no chance, Fish pulls a game out.

Really, would anyone be genuinely shocked if the Rams won by 21 or lost by 21? Ok, the answer should be "no".

So, if asked to make a choice, in the spirit of Leslie Nielsen I'll choose . . . the lasagna . . .
Elaine Dickinson: Well, we had a choice of steak or fish.

Rumack: Yes, yes, I remember, I had lasagna.

Nice way to put it. Both are possible.

And actually, even if they have turned a corner - losing in Lambeau to arguably the current best team in the NFC is not horrible. Seahawks did as well as everyone else for almost two years. Now, how they play game matters.

As was mentioned, turnovers can change this game. And, even getting a turnover against Rogers at home would be significant. Turnovers and Gurley being able to score on top of our D playing at their highest level and we could win it.

I'm excited for this game. Won't be able to watch it as I'll be in the Philly Stadium watching the Saints@Eagles. I will be checking game center constantly though. And maybe looking here for some comments on the game at halftime.

Yep.

Schedule gets easier after GB but will the Rams capitalize? They don't always.

Another good point Elvis. Honestly, the important game as far as "turning the corner" may be Cleveland at home after the bye week.

That should be a win by a significant lead. If it's not...
