Game Time: Sunday, November 19th at 10am on Fox.

Our babies are 7-2! I'm still kinda high from being at MetLife last week and our Colisium this week. What fun.

But now, Rams hit a brutal schedule playing pretty much all the NFC winning teams in quick succession.

Rams and Vikes are both 7-2 and it's our own Case Keenum v Jarod Goff. No one coulda even made this up last year. So it goes!

Vikes have an insanely good defense, but I believe we have an Offense that can still score on them and win. Go Rams!

Betting Line: Rams 2.5 underdogs with a 46 over under

TV Map: oh wow, we have the entire top west of the country.

Opposing Fan Boards

I've never visited Vike boards before. They seem pretty cool. I started some dialogue.

Who's playing in the "brown" game? It shows LA is getting the Brown game. That can't be right.

The "yellow" game is the Chargers vs. Bills?

Brown is cuz LA gets both Rams and Chargers.

QFTOS: Vikings, Pre-Game Edition

Early Edition;
I like teddy, but I am a Vikings fan so I want what’s going to give us the best chance to win and right now Case hasn’t given a reason to replace him yet. If he sucks against the Rams, then yeah considering replacing him makes sense. Doesn’t mean he should necessarily be replaced if he stinks against l.a

I can't argue with the decision, but still think they should be looking for an opportunity to get Teddy some snaps.

Maybe if we are up by 14 points in the 4th quarter with 4 minutes left we give him those snaps. This weeks game is going to be tough though no doubt about it.

He was asked how difficult it was to make this decision and Zim simply said "not difficult"

The reason I think the Rams are more of a threat than the Eagles, Todd Gurley. Vikings need to contain him (rushing and receiving) to stay in this game.

Looks like Griffen will be 100% for this game (heard it was his decision to sit out of the Redskins game). Gonna need him to disrupt the Rams screen game.

Big test for the defense. Big test for the OL. Should be a fun game to watch.

Rams are definitely a tall order this year. Solid all-around team that scores a lot, doesn't give up many points, and can run and pass effectively on offense. The main chink in their armor, if they have a weakness, might be their run defense. Vikes have been effective running the ball this year, so that might be a way to keep the pace down a bit if the Rams come out hot.

If the Vikes want that beautiful new stadium to host as many postseason games as possible this year, this is a game they have to win.

Concerning, especially with the vertical threat of the Rams. Who else we got ? Maybe Newman again?

Jared Goff has progressed tremendously in Year Two, but he remains a work in progress when throwing with defenders in his face. Goff still must fight his natural tendency to back up against interior pressure. Zimmer does not employ his trademark double-A-gap blitzes as much as he used to, but it would make sense to bring them in this game. Not only can that get Goff playing hastily, it also ensures one-on-one blocking against Minnesota’s edge rushers.
On the left side, Rams tackle Andrew Whitworth has been outstanding when he wins on initial contact, but when he’s in reactionary mode, his 35 years of age show. Griffen’s low-to-the-ground bull rush could pose problems for the 6' 7" veteran.

The risk of going double-A-gap is you’re weak on the edges. That’s a problem against Todd Gurley, who has killed defenses by turning the corner in the zone running game and catching balls in the flat. There’s also Tavon Austin

in short the Rams have played 9 games, 3 teams with a top ranked QB and 1 future hall of famer, 3 top 10 offenses, 2 top 10 defense, 3 teams with winning record (2-1),

In 9 games the Vikings have faced 6 pro bowl QBs plus 1 shutout Quarter against Rodgers, and those QBs have a combined 5 Super Bowl rings, 3 top 10 defenses, 3 teams with winning record (1-2) but we also have played with back ups at QB, RB, Wr,

The challenge—I see—is in the trenches.
The Rams have good offensive and defensive lines.
Aaron Donald is a beast. Keenum (or, Bridgewater) may not be able to step up into the pocket as much as he would like.

*The Rams didn't lose to the Seahawks 10-19
It was 10-16 and a Cooper Kupp drop away from winning the game.
If you haven’t noticed, the Rams defense has been improving every single week and getting better at Run D.
On paper the Rams roster looks way better. Should be a good game but wouldn’t be surprised if Aaron Donald lives in the backfield and the defense pile up sacks and turnovers.
Meanwhile Gurley collects another 150+ yards of total offense & Goff slings it all over the field, seeing as we have way more weapons to utilize on offense than the Redskins.
Our ferocious defense has a tendency of hurting NFC West QB’s real bad, as well as the Vikings QB’s.
but who knows, best of luck this Sunday as far as injuries go.

the Rams hurt most of the quarterbacks when u had that dirty cheating no good fuc" fisher as a head coach, and then he hired that other dirty cheating no good convicted of cheating, cheating " Greg Williams. I believe it was also that team that laid that cheap shot on Teddy ( I’m sure the vikes will use that as a little extra motivation)

It’s apart of the game, hard collisions and hard hits happen to sliding QB’s!

The Rams are gonna be tough.
I think the Vikes can win, but Keenum will have to avoid any brain fart interceptions, the running game will have to get on track, and the defense has to play much better than they did against the Redskins to win. It’s a big test.

couldn't stop the skins
c’mon…. gonna stop Goff and McVay and Gurley and Woods and Watkins and Kupp and Higbee and Everett….
get the point?

c’mon…you gonna stop Keenum and Zimmer and Diggs and Thielen and Rudolph and McKinnon and Murray…
get the point?

Who would have thought preseason that we'd basically view the Rams like we usually view the Packers

My biggest concern will be Aaron Donald and how we game plan for him. That guy is a sick beast, just nasty. He'll line up against Berger and Brockers will take on Easton. Brockers is having a solid year as well.

We are going up a Rams offense that is the highest PPG in the league at 33 a game and a defense that is tied for 3rd at 18 a game. It appears they give up yards but buckle down in the red zone.

1. JARED GOFF, LOS ANGELES RAMS
Passer rating on 3-step concepts: 130.2

24. CASE KEENUM, MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Passer rating on 3-step concepts: 72.7

Jared Geof will be running for his life Sunday and will be sacked 6 times. Our defense is coming into this game pissed off because of the performance last week.

Vikings 34
Rams 20

Rams have scored a lot, but it's skewed a bit by scoring 46, 41, 51 against the Colts, Niners, and Giants Ds
They did score 27 against the Jags, but the offense only accounted for half of that.

Rams run a lot of misdirection, screens, and quick passes. Going to have to be able to range from sideline to sideline and make solid tackles.

Watched J.R. due some breakdown on the Rams and they run A LOT of screens. I imagine whenever we show the AA gap blitz they'll be looking to check into a screen.

Stopping Gurley will be huge. I feel like you slow him down then you can slow down their whole offense. I feel good about Rhodes locking down Watkins. Woods and Kupp are solid receivers. We'll need to be at our best tackling.

I like our chances to slow down their offense but we will need to score in the red zone. Rams D is pretty good.

The Rams D may tell a lot about Case at qb this week. Only giving up like 12 points a game

They have played a weaker schedule and we have better DB's & outside pass rushers...

This is likely to be Case's toughest game in the regular season. The Rams' defense is obviously very good, but they also know his tendencies extremely well.

Yeah we are a pretty evenly matched teams. It will come down to execution. At home, I like our chances but it will be a tight game IMO. Lots of back and forth.

through week 10 goff has the 4th highest qb rating when throwing under pressure according to pff, and the 2nd highest qb rating against he blitz.... rounding things out, through week 10 goff also ranks 7th in qb rating on deep passes, and 8th in % of "big time throws" (highest graded passes) completed.
