We Have The Talent

I don't think there's any question we have the talent to be a very good football team. This game shows that.

Another thing this game shows is that you don't have to make every play to win.

If only Tru had made that intercetpion. If only we had recovered that sack fumble. If only Britt had made that critical 3rd down catch or Cook hadn't dropped so many.

That's what we'd be saying if we had lost.

No team make every play, no team. The good teams make enough good plays to win so you don't notice the near misses nearly as much. Penalties don't beat you because of what you're able to do on all the other plays.

And that's how you win games. That's how we won this game.

Well done Rams...

Good win by the Rams but I would have preferred if they earned it without some really poor officiating in their favor. That "forward progress" non-fumble was "tuck rule" bad. It was great for the Rams but one of the worst calls I've ever seen.

Well, the Rams have been on the wrong side of some horrible officiating and those PI penalties that were called against the Rams were also awful so things tend to even out. The Rams won the game and you can't always factor in officiating. Remember last year when Dallas got a gift from the officials against the Lions and then got robbed against the Packers on the Dez Bryant Call? All Cowboy fans talk about is how they got robbed not the gift they were given.

It was a bad call on the Cunningham fumble, but you don't know that would've turned out so onward and upward and maybe things are changing when a call goes the Rams way once in a while. The Patriots have been winning for years on questionable calls and nobody is taking away their titles so no reason for an apology, Rams won and that's it, case closed!

There were bad calls or no calls that went against us too. Iupati literally bear hugging Donald on 2 or 3 big plays. The PI calls were bad. Veldeer made a couple nice tackles and a few holds on Quinn. The Rams weren't the only team to benefit from the officials.

I would have preferred we won the game 72 - 0 with 0 penalties called at all. I'm overjoyed to be 2-2 and 2-0 in the rugged NFCW. Next NFCW victim is SF.
