Watching him run in the open field reminds me of Stephen Jackson. But I think Gurley's faster. He doesn't appear fast sometimes because he has long strides, but he's plenty fast. The more comfortable, and confident he gets, we could be witnessing the beginning stages of someone special. And he's mature beyond his years. How many rookies woulda tried to score on that last run? Instead, he goes down, ensures the win and we're 2-0 inside a tough division.

Dickerson frequently didn't look that fast either because of his long legs,, at least until he blew by a would be defender.

I've been priveliged to see Gale Sayers, Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell, and other HOF RB's. I gotta say I'm impressed. I'm not putting him their class yet, but he sure looks like he has the potential. The trick is staying healthy.

Rams OL took a step forward today. Tim Barnes especially looked better. Still a work in progress, but progress they ARE making. When they get a little better and give Foles just alittle bit more time, and get the run blocking just a tad bit better, the Rams are going start scoring more points. I'm encouraged by this win.

And, oh, by the way, the Rams D? Top tier!

The real test comes against the Packers.

Gurley is so much better than SJ.

SJ was not fast enough to the LOS. He got tripped up a lot.

Gurley has better balance and more speed. This guy is very special. Just wait until all the rust is off. Its gonna be scary for defenses to deal with.

The Cards weren't really ready for Gurley today, the Packers will be, but that will open things up for Foles and Tavon. FINALLY!

This is so accurate. It drove me crazy.

Gurley has football smarts. He proved that today beyond anything else. This year will be him figuring it out with some bursts of impressive that we love, and probably some understanding needed as he learns.

We have a seriously good RB here.

Exactly!! Plus, he has alway seemed to be supporting the team on the sidelines when he wasn't playing.
