Two Drives That Defined Yesterdays Game

Two drives that made me think we may be onto something super...... and I won't add the "B" word so I don't make the mistake of jinxing things.

#1 - The turning point of the game. The two minute drive near the end of the first half with no time outs (Suck on that Fisher!!). After the first run for no gain, I thought maybe they should run and take time off the clock so there would be no Seahawk last second FG scenario, but McVay proved me wrong. What a thing of beauty that drive was. Than, to top it off, the Barron interception shortly after, pretty much nail in the coffin moment.

#2 - The ten minute drive to seal the deal (long game killing drives has been demonstrated in three games so far this season) when the Rams needed to milk the clock they were able to out Jaguars the Jags (loved that line by Schlereth) get out of a huge hole in Dallas, chew up valuable time and kick a field goal. Then, yesterday, consume over ten minutes and essentially demoralize the Cards of any hope and rip their hearts out.

Isn't it nice when opposing teams know the run is coming and there's nothing they can do to stop it?

Think about this..... The Rams were, essentially, in kneel down celebration for an entire quarter.

This is what defines SB teams folks!!

Did I just add the "B" word? Stop it.
