A must listen. Finally someone makes some sense out of the nonsense. Spanos holding out to get paid off to stay in SD and help build his stadium makes all too much sense. and $$$

When he talks about the secret recordings, is that about them talking about leaning towards Spanos or something else? He talked about it for a while, but I couldn't really tell if he was saying they were talking about planting the story just for reasons, or if they were talking about leaning towards Carson, or if it wasn't even the NFL who was saying that or what.. I half listened while in the lab, so maybe I just didn't really get that part fully.

That was a good part about not going for an EIR in Carson and then demanding an EIR where a stadium already is... I hadn't even really thought about that. Agreed on the bit about the LA Chargers fanbase... I do see Chargers fans, but he's right about not really dominating the fanbases.. They're second fiddle regardless of who they join up.

Fun listen, Rack Him! :D

To me, it sounds like he's implying Fabrini is behind this stuff

The top secret tape is cool, spelling out the Chargers strategy... had to be Fabrini. Where has Policy been lately? Is he billing over budget?

We'll when it IS to good to be true, it probably is,,, and that works the other way too.,, and probably is..

The tells were always there though.
This is the topic those 'behind closed doors' meetings suggested are (going to be) about... Others too but they best be gettin' on with it,,,,,
if they already haven't.

I thought the strongest point Fred made is how ridiculous the idea of the Chargers alone in Carson is. Will that really make financial sense to Goldman Sachs who are allegedly bankrolling Carson?

Yup. And then there is VinnyB saying Chargers alone in LA with a straight face.

When I challenged Vinny to a pizza bet that if one team went to LA it wouldn't be Chargers, Vinny said that's a sucker bet and ran away from it.

That to me is all the proof you need to see what Vinny is all about.

He is touting his goomba Fabiani's propaganda. Yet maybe it's what the NFL and even what Kroenke wants to muddle the narrative.

One thing is for sure, Vinny is NOT telling it like he honestly believes it. He is playing his readers.

LOL..
Christopher Lehane and Mark Fabiani have provided damage control for global Fortune 500 companies, prominent elected officials, and well-known celebrities. Previously, they worked for the Clinton White House as part of the "rapid-response" team employed to respond to the various investigations of the Clinton Administration. Boasting frequent media appearances for their expert commentary on the art of damage control, both authors are lawyers with degrees from Harvard Law School.

They left out the part about the Chargers. That will surely be in Vol. 2. 8-)
