turned the game off the moment it was over so i didn't catch any postgame stuff, for those that did the same here's a great chat with gurley:

during the postgame chat they talked about the amount of playing time gurley has seen on 3rd downs this season vs past seasons, i looked up the numbers, here's what he's accounted for on 3rd downs:
2015
8.5% of targets + rush attempts
12.5% of receptions + rush attempts
2016
12.3% of targets + rush attempts
16.4% of receptions + rush attempts
2015-2016
10.4% of targets + rush attempts
14.6% of receptions + rush attempts
2017
32.8% of targets + rush attempts
34.0% of receptions + rush attempts

Yeah, one of the interviewers (I think it was Marshall) said that you just earned yourself more playing time. That's a good thing. The kid is back.

It's so rare that i want to watch the post game after a nationally televised Rams game.

I think he genuinely didn't like it, but also was mindful to not come across as being disrespectful on national television. He even alluded that units aren't simply handed monikers like that, implying that perhaps the team still needs to settle into its own identity.
Did you notice Marshall's body language, especially in response to how Todd Gurley chose to answer his questions or comments? Mariucci was friendly as well, but it seemed to me the two (Marshall & Todd) had an empathy that went beyond a courteous relationship.
It was a very good post game interview.
