I think the Rams may look to target QB, MLB, TE, C, WR in years draft. With 2 second round picks we have an opportunity to make some moves for the right guys. So far here are some of the guys I like:

QB
Jared Goff, Cal

Conner Cook, MSU

LB/MLB
Scooby Wright, Arizona

Miles Jack UCLA

C
Dan Voltz, Wisconson

Kyle Fuller, Baylor

Nick Martin, Notre Dame

TE
Evan Ingram, Ole Miss

O.J. Howard, Alabama

Henry Hunter, Arkansas

WR
Tyler Boyd, Pitt

Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss

Mike Wllliams, Clemson

It's early but these are some guys to keep an eye on. Personally, I would love for Scooby Wright or Miles Jack(injury) to be there for us in the second. To me Goff and Cook look like the best of the QB bunch so far.

Well I would say WR, MLB, OLB, C and CB in no particular order. Granted this all depends on how the season plays out and which of our many impending free agents we attempt to resign. But having a 1st and 2 2nds will be very nice.

I don't think i'd go QB.

We have Manion and i'd much rater see this FO draft defense, no confidence they'd get it right when using high picks on the O...

I agree with you about our track record drafting offense. But its time they earn their money. Rebuilding the OL through the draft is a slow process. Look at the Cowboys. It took them what 4/3 drafts to get it done?

They draft:

RT Doug Free OT #122 4th round Northern Ill 2007

LT Tyron Smith OT #9 1st round USC 2011

C Travis Frederick C #31 1st round Wisconsin 2012

G Zach Martin OT #16 1st round Notre Dame 2014

Over those years they also burned 2 3rd round picks a 4th and a 7th that didn't pan out on OL.

My point is I don't think we are done rebuilding up front. Each draft has its own identity. Last years draft wasn't particularly deep with OL talent. I thought the way we drafted showed we learned from the Robinson pick that drafting a LT from a program that runs 4 plays in college is too steep of a transition to the NFL. I am not saying he's a bust by any stretch. But he's a work in progress for sure. Anyways, this looks to be a better draft up front. I wouldn't hesitate to draft a legit OT/G to replace Saffold and a top notch center. I think we are on the right path, we just aren't done yet.

Adding a TE that can both block and catch the ball wouldn't hurt our young OL!

As for QB, I can't even imagine what the price for Goff or Cook are gonna be on draft day this year. Whatever it is,I doubt I would wanna pay it.

I agree with Elvis. I don't have confidence they would get a high offensive pick right. I wonder who has the final say? I don't think Fisher is all that good at evaluating offensive talent. Maybe Snead should have the final say there. Fisher probably can find defensive gems.

These guys they drafted on the line might end up pretty good one day. But they're not good now. And its frustrating to see this team come out of the gate so slow. Every Fisher season with the Rams started 1-2. When is that going to end? I understand we're starting a new line and new QB and soon new running back. But dang, when is the rebuilding going to end? We've been in a perpetual rebuilding mode for over a decade.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think Foles is it. I'd take a serious look at Jared Goff(Cal) and Conner Cook (MSU).

I think its getting close to the time where they need to think about JL and CL's replacements if they wanna stay good on defense. Who knows? Might even upgrade one of those two positions. If there is a stub MLB in the 1st round I'd think about drafting him. Even if he doesn't start right away. We thought we didn't need a DT when they drafted Donald. Look how that turned out. Can't pass on elite talent.

If Foles keeps playing like he did against the Cards we can cross QB off our list. Tremendous. I'll be more than happy to eat crow on this quote.
