You gotta love fake football!

So what are we looking for?

Me: I just want to see Goff confidently commanding the offense. I want to see a few more deep balls to Reynolds and/or Watkins. And most importantly, I want to see the right side of the line open holes for Gurley. I want to see them win the one on one battles. If Gurley can't get going this year its going to be harder for Goff and the passing game. Nothing helps a young QB still trying to learn the game like a good run attack.

I want to see a bomb to Watkins and the right side of the line to play decent for a change.

I'd like to see more consistency and more first downs both through the air and on the ground.. and our D to dominate.

All in all I want to see less of Johnny Hekker..

I want WAY fewer fumbles and drops! Like....how about none?

Emotionally i want the Rams to look like a good football team. I'll be excited when they do and bummed when they don't.

But intellectually i know even the eye ball test doesn't tell me much if anything about how things will go in the regular season so more than anything, i just don't want to see anyone get hurt...

How many plays and targets did McVay say Watkins will see this game?

I just want to see Goff do his thing and keep growing under McVay's system.

Happened to be in my car last week as the Lions Colts game was winding down and the Colts broadcast was on Sirius NFL. The announcers seemed genuinely bummed about the Colts miserable showing but one of them made a great point: Everyone else in the division had lost too...
