The Ram-Hating National Media AND the Ram-Hating Local L.A. Radio would be having a feeding frenzy. HORRIBLE throws by Wentz. I have ZERO DOUBT, Goff will be better than Wentz. ZERO. DOUBT! :(

I don't know why the Philly fans and some of the media like that guy so much. I didn't watch any of the game, but I read that he did terrible when he was facing pressure.

Remember how high everyone was on Bradford after his first season. Injuries and inconsistencies plagued him the rest of his time with the Rams. Don't count your Wentz until the 16 games have been played.

last season wentz threw 607 passes, he's thrown 13 through two preseason games this year, equating to 2% of his regular season workload, so of course tonight's game means wentz will be horrible in 2017, ha ha... his 158 qb rating in week 1 of the preseason play? well that meant he was going to be the 2017 offensive mvp!

hopefully goff will throw two picks against the raiders in his 12 attempts - coupled with easily the worst pick performances in modern nfl practice history, we'll be able to write him off early and concentrate on mannion, or maybe even deal donald for a qb!

Fans put a ridiculous amount of stock in preseason but what else are we gonna do? That's where we are in the schedule...

I have been posting about this before. I live in the Philly area. Last season the Eagles had All-Pro RT Lane Johnson suspended for 10 games in the middle of the season (beginning in Game 5) for PEDs. During that 10 game stretch the Eagles went 2-8 with Wentz having a QB rating in the 60s for those 10 games. Even without Johnson, the Eagles OL was markedly better than the Rams OL last season.

Anti-Goff individuals I truly believe do not realize the circumstances Goff was placed into last year compared to Wentz. Many claim they would have chosen Wentz and point to his numbers last season but when you actually look closer at Wentz's performance when circumstances were not ideal (but still better than the last 7 games Goff experienced) during that 10-game stretch, I wonder if Wentz would have even matched Goff's performance if the Rams had indeed selected him.

well wentz did lead the eagles, as a rookie, to the same number of offensive points as team bradford/sanchez managed the year before his arrival, and more offensive points than last year's winston led bucs, flacco led ravens, stafford led lions, manning led giants, bradford led vikings, and siemian led broncos to name a few, i.e. it wasn't as if he was a complete flop even tho much of his success came early... i would say there's still hope for eagles fans, more hope than what some other teams are facing with what they have under center... goff? can't wait to see what he can do this season - of course if he isn't stellar during preseason play we'll know that he'll suck in 2017!

Fans feel a need to see other QBs as bad to make them feel better about their own QB.

I get it, but another QB playing poorly doesn't make my QB play better, and that's all I care about.

The only important thing right now is that Goff doesn't play poorly tomorrow. If he plays poorly that will raise valid red flags. Goff should be playing at least the first quarter, so we'll get a much better read on him than last week.
