End of the first half vs. Skins

Was I the only one who thought Fisher completely botched the end of the half yesterday? We had a probable 3 points that he missed out on because of sheer stupidity.
First off, before 3rd and long with Washington trying to run out the clock, he waited about 15 seconds before FINALLY calling timeout. No excuse for that.
After a poor punt, the Rams started on the Washington 45 yard line - already within POSSIBLE field goal range of Zuerlein. I think there was 22 seconds left and the Rams had no timeouts. So, I'm thinking get a quick 5 to 7 yards over the middle because there is sill time to run up and spike the ball.
On first down they ran a lousy play. Still time to probably get those 5 to 7 yards over the middle and spike the ball. On 2nd down again another horrible play. Then on 3rd down, it's clear there is no way to complete a pass in bounds and have time for another play. So, of course, that's exactly what they do - complete the pass they should have done on first down or possibly 2nd down and the clock easily runs out. Half over. 3 very possible points thrown away.
On 3rd down they should have either tried the 62 yard field goal or taken a shot at the sideline. Just plain stupid. And let's not forget the 15 seconds he let roll off the clock for no apparent reason. Terrible.
