Color me lurker for a while

Well, after just about blowing a gasket all weekend and on Monday, I officially know fuck-all about today's NFL. I'm so wrong about so many things that there's really very little point in posting on message boards about it. Teams like SF and NE are literally impervious to adversity and the twats that I can't stand continue to not only do well, but also win.

If I had to decide right now, I'd cancel my DirecTv and everything that goes along with it. The NFL brings me little enjoyment anymore. Correction, has brought me little enjoyment for a very long time.

The Rams won, my FFL team won and I still feel like crap. Like baseball cards and comic books, it may be time for me to move on.

If the Rams keep winning, that should bring the happy dance back.

As for the black 9er's perhaps Minny just plain sucks. The common denominator with those 2 teams is that they are (or at least are perceived as) winners. As a result, they are favored to be aired on TV and likely get the benefit of the doubt in game calls too.
Los Ramos on the other hand,, not so much. But if they keep winning (and being a storied franchise) they will quickly ascend to prominence. Especially in LA.

Hope you are along for the ride.

Vikings looked terrible. Bridgewater threw some bad passes. Defense looked bad. Overall they looked like a bottom tier team. And people say this is a playoff team? Long way to go, but for one week the whiners get to feel good.

You gotta take this stuff less personally.

Like i told my wife last night (during the SF/Minn game): "The NFL is like a a box of chocolates..."

The way I deal with this is that I hardly pay attention to anyone other than the Rams any longer.
