How does our current D-line stack up against the FF in sacks?

THEN
From 1967-69, the Rams were 32-7-3 and won two division titles, and defense fueled that success. The Rams front four were the main focal point during the 1960s.
The front four made the Rams the hardest team to score on in the NFL. They only allowed only 196 points in 14 games in 1967. From 1964-1968, the Fearless Foursome allowed the fewest rushing yards in the NFL. They also averaged 44 quarterback sacks in a five-year time frame.

NOW
The Rams' D-line rotation features five first-round selections: Robert Quinn, Aaron Donald, Michael Brockers, Chris Long and Nick Fairley (who was taken in Round 1 by Detroit in 2011 but signed with St. Louis this offseason). The Rams should be able to overwhelm opponents with their collection of talent in the trenches. From controlling the run with Brockers and Fairley to harassing quarterbacks with Long, Quinn and Donald, the Rams have the ability to attack the line of scrimmage with a number of big-bodied athletes with exceptional size, strength, power and explosiveness. With coordinator Gregg Williams adept at using blitzes to create one-on-one opportunities for his disruptive defenders at the point of attack, the Rams should pummel opponents at the line of scrimmage on their way to becoming one of the NFL's premier defenses.
Five first rounders.

There are no official sack stats available for the Fearsome Foursome so it's difficult to get an accurate head to head sack comparison per position. They also only played 14 game seasons.

So to recap, the Fearsome Foursome averaged 44 sacks per year for 5 seasons. Our current line will average 46.5 sacks per year for 5 seasons if in 2015 they end up with 1/2 this seasons pace total of 96 = 48.
Of course you have to factor in the 2 extra games the current teams plays. So the FF averaged 3.1 sacks per game and our current team averages 2.9 per.
Now that the D-line has AD, if we get more than 48 we are pretty equal in the sack department.

Tackles and overall D stats like points allowed per season, not really comparable, but with our secondary coming into it's own I expect that to change for the better.
