Sleepless In Seattle
PostPosted:9 years 4 months ago
altho most seattle forum fans are predicting a hags win, the far majority think it will be very close, while more than a few are doing some fretting...
> 13-12 STL - Pete Carroll once again outcoached when it matters most (some kind of gadget/trick play TD being the difference). I see us struggling with efficiency and getting into the RZ where we can use any weapons. I'd love to be wrong.
> Rams 23 Seahawks 10. Haven't had such little confidence in a result since the 2011 season. Worst/toughest game on the schedule imo.
> I think our OL will be just a little bit worse than theirs... We lose. Man that hurts.
> However many points you spotted the Rams, add 7 to it. You know they're going to score on a Fisher trick play...
> Strange things tend to happen in that dome.
> I predicted this as a loss in the season record thread and even though there's a lot of reasons to think it won't be, I just don't see this as a good outcome. If the game were at 3:00 PM Central, 1:00 PM Pacific I'd go with the Hawks. It's not. Lambs 12
Hawks 10. Praying I'm wrong.
> This game has that 'you gotta be kidding me' feel to it and weird things always seem to happen in St. Louis. I think they stumble out of the gate. STL 16 SEA 13. (Don't hate)
> While I am very optimistic about the season this game does worry me.
Brand new offensive line with an offense that has struggled all preseason, going on the road against a team they have always struggled against. I have trouble seeing us scoring much, my biggest hope is that foles (who isn't that good) struggles. I think we'll be a much better 2nd half team than 1st half team this year.
Rams 17-15.
> Seahawks - 9 Rams - 17. Suck me sideways! We hate playing in St. Louis.
> While I am starting to get more optimistic about this game as it gets closer, I have to go with my gut. The Rams have really made life tough for us in St. Louis the last couple years. Their D-line against our new O-line still should be the difference until proven otherwise. Hope I'm wrong. Seahawks 20 Rams 24.
> Going to be an ugly one. I've had this marked as a loss from the time the schedule came out. Rams 19 Seahawks 16.
> The road to redemption starts on Sunday against the Rams. It remains to be seen how Nick Foles pans out for them but our primary concern will be how our fresh-faced OL can hold up against their tremendous front. Even if they fare decent, I still anticipate Russ will be running for his life after each snap because that's what he's had to do since he's been here. The Rams and their coach just love pulling one over on us in the form of a trick play when we least expect it which always seems to work out well for them.
> Let's be honest. Our secondary is a mess right now. Earl has not played with contact since the Super Bowl. Cary Williams is still adjusting to our scheme. Kam will not play, and Bailey has poor instincts when playing in space. This is not the L.O.B. we are accustomed to watching.
> Expect a long brutal game for both offenses.
> Sure hope we can get our Offense off to a better start than last year.
> I don't see either team scoring 20 points.
> Just think this is going to be one ugly game...
> Despite Jimmy, I see a low-scoring game...
> At first I hated that we get the Rams on the road in week 1, but now I see it as a blessing. That team probably won't start clicking until midseason.
> Typical low scoring game between the two teams.
> Our O-line is in for a rude awakening...
> I'm thinking it's close with struggling offenses.
> This first game of 2015 will not be the one to showcase the new Seahawks offense. Look for game 3 verses the Bears for the Hawks Offense to rack up points. On Sunday both the Rams and Seahawks defense will make it difficult for the other to score.
