Gordon calling out Gurley

I'm laughing at the twist that the Chargers are "sharing" a stadium, while technically true. That stadium is Kroenke's and Dean and co are trying to create a rivalry that really doesn't exist. Once every 4 years the Rams will play the moochers.
---
The Chargers will soon share a stadium in Inglewood with the Rams.
And, despite the respect shown between the two teams, there’s also some friendly (or unfriendly) rivalries brewing in Los Angeles.
TMZ Sports caught up with Chargers Pro Bowl RB Melvin Gordon, who when asked about Rams RB Todd Gurley, admitted he wants to be the top back in LA.
“Ain’t no more talkin’. We’ll let the work do the talk,” Gordon said.

Good, Hopefully Gurley hears that and responds on the field. I think Gurley got caught up in the move and "Hollywood" last off-season and hopefully this last season humbled him a bit.

Agree 100 % HopHead.
If last years performance doesn't motivate him then,
we should get another back.Doesn't strike me as
someone who is gonna allow that to happen though.

Things might have come too easy for Gurley. Now he knows it takes more than just showing up to be a star. He should start hanging out with Kobe instead of Jay Z. Kobe would show him what dedication and hard work looks like.

Ugh. Keep Kobe away. Have him hang out with Faulk or SJ or any number of other players IF he needs that. Which I don't think he does. He had his fun in the sun, went Hollywood a little but now he can get back to work.
The last thing Gurley needs is to start acting like Kobe.

Say what you want about Kobe but his work ethic was second to none. And he demanded his teammates work hard too. Probably wasn't a pleasant person to be around but his dedication is something you want players to have.

I can't give Kobe credit for his work ethic when he quit on the Lakers. He only played when he got his way, the team be damned. Screw him. Not to mention is off the court issues.
It's not like his work ethic actually improved other players. Most guys seemed not to want to play with him so what good was it really?

I don't think he's got any room to talk but his production is trending up while Gurley's is trending down. Mirror images of each other the past two years.
