Does this mean we can official declare the Rams and Redskins draft pick trade so they could get RG3 a bust trade for Wash ;)

Yeah the Rams clearly won the trade even if our picks just prove to be average starters. The biggest win was in not picking RG3 ourselves though. I'll always wonder if we had the first pick what we would have traded Sam for and run with Luck.

Not that I'm defending RGIII, he seems to have some real attitude/personality issues, but this reminds me of the Rams in 2003. Popular starting QB who is struggling is diagnosed with mysterious concussion, backup is anointed the starter and the fans are expected to accept that that's all there is to it.

In the long run, this may benefit RGIII if he is humbled and decides to improve himself and prove himself on the field. Just like that Rams QB had to.

Only difference is that Warner was a proven deal. RG2.5, not so much. Cousins is a capable back-up / starter as was Bulger so I see the comparison. It's RG's moth and ability to remain humble as his career starts to dwindle away. Hey why not complete this cycle and hire RG2.5 to be Foles back-up and then let the controversies begin. That would also be the ultimate bust for Washington as well.

I remember on RRF when one of the members posted such a thing. I was such a homer for Bradford then I knocked the very idea of Luck for Bradford are even having both of them. Today my opinion and response would be so much different..........LOL I so agree bro one of the greatest outcomes of the trade is we did not end up with RG3.

LMAO............If we ended up with RG3 as a backup to Foles, I would have to join every Redskin site there is. As the entertainment value of their fans opinions would not be a read I would wanna miss.......LOL

"More" proven, I agree. But it isn't like RGIII hasn't had elite success in the league.

The difference to me is that RGIII is trying to become something he's not. Gruden is taking heat for trying to make RGIII into a pocket passer and he shouldn't be because RGIII actually wants that. I suppose it's understandable to want to stay out of harm's way but in this case, I think RGIII needs to realize that what made him special was his legs. I don't think he's wired right to ever become a true pocket passer so he needs to find a way to stay healthy while running.

Which IMO, is his problem. It isn't just that a running QB is more susceptible to hits, it's the way RGIII in particular takes hits. He gets blown up every time he's tackled. That's the problem. I don't see any reason why RGIII couldn't study and copy Russel Wilson's game. Use his speed and escapability to his advantage but get out of bounds or somehow find a way to not get destroyed each time that he's tackled.

I could see him going to Buffalo or maybe San Fran. A few other teams are possible like the Browns or Jets but I just can't see it because of the sideshows they already have. The Redskins have 2 descent options right now that work better in Gruden's system.
