Anyone watching the Raiders/Texans?
Hopkins just caught a ball, broke it to the outside and raced down the sideline for what should have been a TD. But the play was blown dead even though he didn't step out. Why not swallow your whistle and let the play go and let replay sort it out?

That was ridiculous.
Agree he should be fired.

The officials spotting the ball should be fired. Boy did that change the game in the fourth quarter!

Crooked refs have been screwing the Texans the entire game, and the fans have been flashing lasers in the eyes of the Texan players.

I like the Raiders, I like Carr and Cooper. I was rooting for them, and enjoyed watching the game.
I am so mad though. the Refs basically pulled back a REAL TD, and the Texans lost because of it.
to make it worse, at the end of the game the announcers mentioned the fucked up TD call, then said, but who really won: Oakland let's talk about them.
It was won by 7 points. That stupid fucked up call changed the game. It's beyond maddening.

I don't generally watch a lot of football talking heads. I rarely ever watch football on TV or the shows that talk about the game.
But since I left the TV on after the game: FUCK!
This game was destroyed with that wrong call on the Houston TD and Oakland winning by 7. Now these dumbass talking heads are worshipping Oakland.
This is too much. I'm all for fiction, but this is really a problem.
If Fisher is extended and Refs keep pulling this shit, I think I will need a year or two off from football.

Mokler is right, the NFL shouldn't blow the whistle on these plays. The ref ought to have a green flag that he can throw during a play if he feels is too close to call and not interrupt play. That was a TD
But I thought the spot on the ball in the 4th Q was even worse. He made the first down on 3rd down and got a bad spot, ok they go for it on 4th and easily convert. But wait, another bad spot ad the replay which so obviously showed it to be erroneous, didn't overturn. WTF??
On a side note, both coaches playing to win, went for it on 4th and 1....

I agree that those two spot calls were even worse than the blown TD call. The blown Hopkins play was bad but Houston had a chance to overcome it and it was a whistle blown so there's really nothing that could be done.
The spot call(s) are ones that make you lose faith in the league. But, they were making bad calls both ways so I'm not sure if it's corruption or ineptitude. Probably both.
And, I agree with playing to win and being aggressive but you have to have the right pieces in place to take that approach. What happened to Houston is a lot more likely to happen to the Rams.

The Miami TD where we stopped the running back when suddenly a mass of Miami players aided the runner to advance the ball in for the score. They didn't carry him but aided. I just remember that not flying.
