A few days ago Missouri Sen. Gary Romine publicly stated he would fight gov. Nixon's plan to extend bonds for a new stadium.

Are these guys part of the filibuster five or are they in addition? Not only does Stan have the best plan and all the money, StL can't get out of their own way. There are those on the Rams boards who believe this will go unnoticed or be non consequential.

Good point. You know back door deals are being done and not only in StL. For example, is Pat Haden working towards helping the Rams return? Apparently the NFL is happy about the bone (NFLN +) ESK threw at them too.

The Peacock contingent advertises their attempts to get to the owners. AB/Peacock might have a bit of pull in MO too, but not as powerful as the man with the football team does.
