Hacksaw's Carson and Inglewood Report

https://www.dtsc.ca.gov/SiteCleanup/Pro ... ration.pdfThis is a report from the Tetra-tech website from 2008. Their signs are still hanging on the fences.
I spoke with a guard named Edgar from Casitas Security who has been sitting on the Del Amo entrance for nearly 5 years. He sits in a shack all day and was more than excited to see a human other than the pump truck (seen in photo) drivers going in or out pumping sludge up which could contaminate the local groundwater of spill over into a drainage ditch (also visible in photos) which eventually outlets into the Pacific Ocean.

Edgar told me loud and clear that in the 4 1/2 years he has sat on that gate, that the only NFL presence was from the teams who both had a representative show up there 1 time ONE time. Apparently on that day, others were supposed to meet them there and those parties never showed up. He said the cars were fancy and parked separately from each other and the occupants didn't interact. After about an hour they both sped off.
Edgar also mentioned that in his time there, no less that 4 different investment groups came in ready to purchase (some did) and then after realizing the nightmare that developing that site would be, they bailed out, including the development shown in the sign on the fence.
In the photos in the previous post the trucks you see are the ones re-mediating the sludge.
This photo is from the neighborhood of the proposed site while passing by on one of those close freeways.

Not much else to show from Carson but what bubba has been telling us is now verified by Edgar and I could see with my own eyes and smell with my own nose how that place isn't ready for some football. I spoke to him about the stadium of which he was fully aware and he just laughed.
I also spoke with a T-T employee who declined to comment under some what he called un-official gag order.

Now Inglewood is a completely different bag of chips. First I went up into the Casino parking lot where they have somewhat kept public parking away from the development site even though they are open during construction. They disallowed me from taking any photos from that elevated position. I may have just been unlucky as I was about to and a golf cart driven by security guard asked me not to. I could see however that there are no laterals being run through the general location of where the bowl would approximately be located. In other words, they are going to a lot of trouble laying the infrastructure around an area about the size of a stadium. This is what I was looking for.
I spoke to a couple of guards again (shown) at the main construction gate and dump trucks were leaving the site loaded, who reluctantly spoke with me about his understanding (being a man at ground zero) that "Mr Kroenke is building something big over by the new piles of dirt (shown). Sorry not very definitive but he also seemed like he was told that mums the word as he kept looking over his shoulder for his boss. He did tell me he'd seen NFL rep's there on several occasions.
The light in the air, the beauty of the location is a huge difference from the vibe over in Carson. Both parcels are huge but the Inglewood site connects to already completed surroundings. It took me 4 minutes to go from Prairie down century to the 405. , The 105 runs by the stadium to the south just about a mile away so I'd say this site is freeway and airport close to everything which also trump Carson.
The stadium will be located between those fresh mounds of dirt behind the 'stop' sign and the tree rows in the back round.

That is lot of dirt to have come simply from pipework and foundation preparation. Still I'm fairly certain it's not from the CoChamps bowl but they are digging deep for something.
I wish I could say I bumped into the developer who spilled the beans but the sense I got from everyone I spoke to in the area (including the guard) was that football is going to be played there in the next few years.
If anyone in the immediate area can get by, go to the Casino on Prarie and try to get some shot from the parking / office structure show here. I'm going to try again when I go to LA in a week or so to sign a deal.

I will also try, i live just down the street, but i'll have my friend drive me close (i can't drive now because of my stroke) and try and take pics. Are you saying pic taking is not available even at the Casino? Not in the Casino but just taking pics of the property is banned?

Banned? Not sure about that. It's not like top secret or anything but a guard did suggest I didn't take photos from there. I just split then as I was running late for a scrimmage 60 miles away.
I'm going to give it another go, and if that doesn't fly I'll try up Century and go behind to where the trees are in the residential areas. Or possibly the Forum parking lot. Got to circle around in the traffic til you find the right spot. Best shots up the structure with the circular stairs.
I mainly wanted to get higher up so I could see the layout better. Semi fail. But I did get in the perimeter. Next time I'll wear my boots/bags and bring my hard hat, lol
Good luck if you go.
