ok, so im at the rams practice with the cowboys, and I decide that since i'm there at 12:00 and the practice doesn't start until 3:45, I might as well head over to the beer gardens and mingle...

I grab a cold one and there's no room under the shade tarp, so I sit at a picnic table and sip my beer.. there are three ram fans in front of me BS'n and I notice one of the guys is talking about a bunch of new construction plans coming up around the new Inglewood site... these are not affiliated with kroenkes development at all, and so I kinda butt my way into the conversation, because if this is BS, me being a developer/contractor, it won't take me long to expose this bragger(i'm thinking)...

so he's rattling off about "LA live" type venues, and several other new hotels, upgades, and retail, around the Hollywood park, that have nothing to do with kroenke, but are obviously tied to the new stadium getting passed...

so I ask him , point blank, "it sounds like other investors are leaning toward the stadium in Inglewood getting built, but I hear it is still up in the air, however the meetings in Chicago were very good for Inglewood in my opinion, and now if what you are saying is true, that just reaffirms my opinion"..

his response was.."it's been a done deal for a long time".."i had dinner with Vinnie(vince ferragamo) and les (snead) last night and we drank some of stans personal wine( $2600 a bottle) and have it from a good source that I can't disclose right now, but there are 22 rams players that are house hunting in orange county as we speak"...

now I know what he was saying sounded far fetched, and was skeptical myself, as this was being told to me, but right after he said this, he whips out his phone, and he began to scroll through pics on his phone of vince and les both with him and several other people at the restauraunt..

so now get this, he also tells me the Wednesday practice has been canceled, BUT the rams are still gonna do a walk-thru the next day at a highschool near where they are staying, it was the Christian school near Westlake, but I forgot which one so I didn't go, and Arizona blue on another ram BB mentioned just that..

so this guy tells his one friend that he has VIP pass for himself, and will go try to get him one too so they can hang out, because his friend had "met up" with him and he was gonna help him get into the VIP section with him... the 2 of them take off and leave me with the other three friends of the other guy, i'm not sure if the others knew the "insider" or not, so we're sitting around having beers and BS'n for awhile ...however, when the "insider" gets back, he has VIP passes for all four of the guys I was chatting with, however, not me...lol

I would have loved to have gone in to the VIP section with them, but I was still having a good time with other rams fans, and the info I got more than made up for any disappointment...

there was so much more that this guy told me...

if there are odds in vegas...go now...bet now
I know it's a done deal...

yup, done deal sounds about right. i'm sure most of what we're getting is just for public consumption. i can't imagine so much money being invested if it wasn't a sure thing.

Sounds great to me.

However, Vegas knows what's gonna happen before anyone else. When big money is involved, they always do. If they list odds on the Rams moving to LA not being prohibitive, then it's not a done deal.

Or the largest player trade in NFL history? 22 Rams for Rivers and a lifetime supply of fish tacos? Great news SLO. Another pillar drilled into the Inglewood soil... [Great photo of Deacon by the way].

LeRoy Irvin said the same thing in our Q&A with him (he works with Vince Feragamo in OC), that he knew the Rams were coming but he couldn't say who his source is.

OTOH, all the professionals who cover the story say nothing is certain. And i have to say, if 22 Rams are house hunting in OC, that seems like it would be hard to keep quiet, lot of people in those loops.

Thanks for the info Slo, great stuff...

Do you know of a bookie Max?
As of May no online bookmaker or sports book website offered propositional bets on an NFL franchise moving to Los Angeles.

Just for fun. All fictional wager carry a fictional closing date of Opening Day 2016 unless otherwise noted.
http://larams.net/news/odds-nfl-teams-m ... s-angeles/ Likely a biased bunch...

Rams move to Los Angeles: 1/1.
Rams and Chargers move to Los Angeles: 5/1
Oakland Raiders move to Los Angeles: 5/1.
San Diego Chargers to move to St. Louis for 2017 season: 12/1.
St. Louis Rams stay in St. Louis: 20/1

This is from a betting (non Rams related) website.

Oakland to LA. Odds: +1200
Rams Odds: +115
Chargers Odds: -140
