love rams football, love it a ton, but being a lazy ass fan can be friggin' exhausting, even if you don't battle the crowds (or fly halfway around the world) to see the guys in person, just watching them play every week in front of the screen, on the edge of your seat, screaming, swearing, cheering, then having to wind down afterwards, geesh, it's an ass kicker, thank goodness for the bye week, this lazy ass fan needs it too!

For the last decade, I've watched the Rams on TV and other games on the PC via Sunday Ticket to follow my fantasy team and see back and forth games going to the wire. In Linehan/Spags/Haslett eras, the Rams would lose the TV privilege around the start of the 4th quarter. I guess it's improvement that I haven't done that much during Fisher ball. But yeah, it's pretty satisfying to watch things where you are more positive about winning (fantasy) and to see teams that can throw the pigskin and score. I was chugging the Jim Jones kool aid after 4 weeks, but now...I'll be pre-dispositioned into thinking the Rams will lose and do so in typical Rams fashion. Heck, I could go the beach or something else instead of planting myself on the couch (make the wife happy) this Sunday!

Yeah, I don't seem to be all that disappointed about not watching Rams football. A losing streak seems to sap the enthusiasm outta me.

And the Keenum supporters can point to the fact that he threw ZERO Int this weekend

The bye week is best scheduled for opening weekend (Second Saturday and Sunday of November) of the Kansas Pheasant season. But alas, it has never been thus scheduled.

I'll be watching football all day long. The wife has to work, so I will only miss the night game. I love the sport, but I love my Rams more.
