They've said every day of practice open to the public has been less than last years corresponding day.

I'm sure that most folks have surmised that the Rams aren't as interested in StL as they had hoped. The Rams have distanced themselves from the community with their local silence and Inglewood activities. The locals are just following suit.
I don't blame them.
It's only for this year though. Next year they will be back, at least most of them, but only if the Rams are denied or announce Stan's plans to stay there.

Compared to the $4K that showed for the Rams it appears that some new scenery might be in order for the Rams. Let's see what happens in Oxnard. StL just isn't on the same level no matter how you slice it with the possible exception of the per-capita fan numbers.
