Goff needs an offseason away from Fisher

Goff needs an offseason away from Fisher and his coaching staff.
I remember how lost Mannion looked last year in PS. Many called him a wasted pick and now he looks like he may develop into a serviceable backup.
Goff will be in street clothes this season as the #3 QB. And luckily for him won't spend much time getting brainwashed by this inept coaching staff starting with Fisher and going down to Weinke.
He needs to take ownership of his career like GRob did and work with people who actually know what they are doing.
The Rams have the worst passing offense in the NFL for 4 and now this will be 5 straight seasons. It should be painfully obvious to even the veriest tyro that it all starts and ends with Fisher. He the worst HC in the NFL when it comes to the passing game.

I think you may be overstating where Mannion is right now, too. Granted, he's better than he was but he isn't exactly ready for prime time either. Is he even a serviceable backup? I don't know but I don't think so.
Goff and Mannion are so bad that Keenum looks like an obvious choice as starter. That's how sad things are. This is like the Browns starting Brian Hoyer because Johnny Manziel and Connor Shaw just couldn't be started. We are still laughable at the QB position but we spent 6 premium draft picks and the #1 overall to get there. Not just a trade up back into the late first round.

The performance of the WR core this pre-season was deplorable.
Our new WR Groh has to answer for that.
Sure he's got good lineage, but he's not his father Al, and he's not Adam Gase
Sherman had been a popular whipping boy for years, well this year was even worse than I can remember

You guys were killing me yesterday. He shows flashes of greatness at times but obviously he's not ready.

It's Fisher. He hires these guys and every year it's the same. Move, or no move, it's sad that we've had to put up with this for so long.
Of course it's only preseason. Maybe they come out next Monday night and look good on offense. I doubt it but would love to be proven wrong.
It's probably too early to say but it sure seems that mortgaging the farm to take a QB is a bad idea when Jeff Fisher is your coach.

The Rams are so pleased with Jared Goff's progress they're making him the third string QBhttp://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/9/2/12768460/los-angeles-rams-jared-goff-third-string

Everyone does realize Gurley had 4 carries and Tavon had bubble rap on him? The first team O'line looked good, that is most important. This team will move the ball this year.

Fisher is a washed up head coach, plain as day just by watching him on hard knocks. Now all he cares about is bringing in his buddies to be his assistant coaches including his in over his head son, who probably doesn't know what the hell he's doing. And why not? When you have unfathomable job security and make 7 million a year and can get way with perennial losers, why care? I mean Rob Boras as a full time OC? You think another franchise in the NFL would hire this bum to be their OC?
LA doesn't do losers, as much hype as their is with the return of the NFL, the Rams put out a piss poor performance, the air will be out of the balloon by year 2. Kroenke better realize this fast.
