Didn't we already know this 2 weeks ago? I guess today it's official.

Yes, we already know this, but for whatever reason they weren't ready to announce it yet. We should hear about the radio broadcast team and maybe pre and post game host any day now.

Back to KMPC where they belong.

I prefer 710 to 570 for sure. The challenge will be how will 710 juggle having the Rams, Trojans and Lakers come Oct/Nov. Former Laker Mychal Thompson is a co-host of a show as well as the analyst on the games, and John Ireland (unlistenable imo) also co-hosts a show and is unlucky enough to do the Play-by-Play on radio games. This concerns me because both Thompson and Ireland have a lot vested in the Lakers and pretty much nothing in the Rams. I really hope 710 decides to feature and promote, and direct all local hosts to prioritize, the Rams over the Lakers. Don't see USC being a problem because they wont be playing for championships in 2016 and interest will be minimal.

Once they determine who is going to do PBP and analyst(s), perhaps they will give them a slot for talk shows as well.

Yesterday, for the first time and because its now official, they talked about the Rams for over 2 hours! Kevin Demoff was a guest for about 20 minutes they asked about Goff, Gurley, the stable of Wr's, and at lenth on the uniforms.

I was completely surprised because I listen to 710 every day. They will be talking more Rams today but I'm not sure what time, I'm guessing around noon or 1pm.

They made the Rams announcement at about 12:30 pm and they interviewed Demoff at about 1 pm. They did talk a lot more about the Rams than they normally do. With the announcement, hopefully they'll start to talk about the Rams a lot more.
