Good listen from the Mayor and it was a good couple segments from Fred. The Mayor lays it out and is very honest about everything and like Fred says he acts with class. I'm glad he's leading the Inglewood project for sure.

Thanks for posting this.
I don't know if it means anything, @9minute mark, "Stan Kroenke now controls all that land at Hollywood Park. Okay. He's now the project manager."
Couple weeks back, I read rumors of rumors that Stan had bought out Stockbridge's interest in this project (shortly after Stockbridge announced huge losses on their SLS Las Vegas project). I wonder if Fred heard something, off the record.

Wow, he's going all in if he bought those guys out. They had a much larger chunk. If it is as it sounds, he has a lot more design flexibility regarding the rest of the development. It's a good sign he feels comfortable enough to spend that additional dime/time.
Timing of Butts presser and the StL meeting press release is coincidence at it's finest too.
If this is how it sounds, Stan's fists just clenched a bit tighter.

It is possible that his partners, recognizing his experience put him in charge of the development. They wouldn't sell to him before I have a hard time they will now. Besides if he has control/lead/project management on this it looks better to the NFL so his partners probably realized this and are giving him the ammo needed.

All cool!
All signs good!

At first blush when comparing the 3 projects, Inglewood seems to have the charmed path compared to the infighting/lawsuit thing in StL, the SD/Carson toxic-no show liars club, and Oakland being brokeland..
I wonder how Goldman Sachs will like that ESK is going to build his "development" no matter what?
Also that Fox Sports naming rights deal is interesting. Especially Fox who is contracted to carry NFC home teams.

That meant everything bro. That's the main thing that sticks out to me from the interview. Stockbridge and the Kroenke group were supposed be to partners. Now Stan is calling the shots? Hmmm

Great Listen and Roggin is right on point about Mayor Butts the man is brilliant and I'm sure glad he's our side. In the end I love how they paint the Chargers as the pain in the ass. In the end it's obvious the NFL would want the Chargers to stay in San Diego and then the palatial venue in Inglewood would make everyone happy IMHO.
Now I'm not a fan of sharing a stadium with anyone, but if it means the Rams are back in the Los Angeles and it's the Stadium that Stan built, then I'm okay with it. They just keep on moving along in Inglewood which is refreshing and so is Butts for that matter, if I was a money man and the Inglewood project comes to fruition I would back Butts for Governor of the Golden State because I enjoy listening to him and he's on point with everything.
