She's not budging when it comes to public tax dollars. She wants it to be private except the infrastructure which is about 100-150 mill. They do still owe about 100mill on the old stadium.

Just about enough money to put up four guard towers and line the top of Oak-Alemeda Stadium with concertina wire.

Not a surprise to anyone. They had the opportunity to be involved in a brand new stadium in their own market but they refused.

Floyd Kephart's proposal only asks that the city provide the infrastructure improvements for the Coliseum City development. This fits with his proposal.

This is from a couple years ago but Oakland had to lay off a lot of cops because of their financial problems. They're not really in a position to bribe anybody to stay. But there should be private money available, lot of money in the bay area...
