Not a fan.
I guess you can afford to take chances on these defensive players when you have a top tiered offense
On second thought

It's a gamble because of his motor. I think he's better suited for a 4-3 defense. Unlike CL. A lot of times players don't live up to expectations because of scheme. Other times a dog is just a dog. So it may just work out if he decides he wants to play...

I like the signing, he wasn't used right in their 3-4 and should be much better in our 4-3. Like the Fairley signing last year this could be great for us.

I think so also. It likely doesn't matter whether we sign Fairly anymore.

And just interesting to note, GW operates more of a highbred 4-2-5 in a pass oriented league. Which is why my favorite free agent signing has been Barron. Without looking for him, last year I noticed he seemed to be in almost every play. I could see the 4-2-5 becoming more popular with continued success. And rare players like Barron becoming in high demand.

If you look at Coples' "hi-lite" reel, he has some very good tools to work with. If the mad scientist G. Will can get him dialed in, I am certain he will have packages that accentuate Mr. Coples' skill set. He can be a very disruptive, in the backfield player.
